Getting Started

Your first login: pick how to start

The very first time you open WaterMark on a brand-new company, you get three clear ways to start instead of an empty screen: import your customer list, add your first real customer, or load a sample company to explore. All three are safe, and you can use the other tools afterward.

Where: Today (home) screen - the blue "Welcome to WaterMark" card shows automatically on a brand-new company

  1. Open WaterMark. On a fresh company you land on the Welcome card with three choices side by side.
  2. To bring over an existing book, choose "Bring my book over" and click "Import my customers" to open the CSV importer.
  3. To start for real, use "Set up my company": type a customer name and service address (those two are the only required fields), tap the weekday for their weekly visit, and set a price per visit (it defaults to 150).
  4. Click "Add customer -> see your route." WaterMark creates the customer, puts them on that weekday's route, and shows you the real route so you can see the stop actually exists.
  5. From the confirmation you can add another customer, import your whole list from a CSV, or open Route Manager.
  6. To look around first instead, use "See it live first" and click "Load sample data" to fill the app with a demo book of business you can safely explore and remove later.
  7. Prefer a hand? Use the "We'll set you up" link on the card to email support for a guided start.
Good to know
  • The Welcome card is owner-only - office staff and techs don't see it.
  • Only name and address are required. Pool size, type, and other details all have sensible defaults you can change on the customer's card later.
  • Adding your first customer defaults their service day to today's weekday, so the stop shows up on a route you can actually see right away.
