Get WaterMark alerts in Slack

Send plain-English notifications into a Slack channel when key things happen - a job is completed, a payment is received, an invoice is paid. Setup takes one URL and needs no Slack app install or approval.

Where: Manage company -> Setup -> Webhooks & API -> Slack notifications

  1. In Slack, create an Incoming Webhook for the channel you want alerts in, and copy its URL.
  2. In WaterMark, open "Manage company," then "Webhooks & API" under Setup.
  3. Scroll to the "Slack notifications" section.
  4. Paste your Slack Incoming Webhook URL into the field.
  5. Save it, then send a test to confirm the message lands in your channel.
  6. To change channels later, paste a new URL to replace the saved one; to stop, remove it.
Good to know
  • Slack sends readable messages like job completed, payment received, and invoice paid - no code needed.
  • No Slack app install or admin approval is required; an Incoming Webhook URL is all it takes.
  • This lives in the same Webhooks & API screen, so it's owner-only.
