Build your chemical catalog and water-balance targets

The chemical catalog is the master list your techs pick from on the job screen. Water-balance targets are the ideal ranges your dosing engine aims for. Tune both to how your company runs.

Where: Manage company -> Catalog & forms -> Chemical catalog / Water-balance targets

  1. Open Manage company, then under Catalog & forms choose Chemical catalog.
  2. To add a chemical, fill the "Add a chemical" row: name (e.g. Cal-Hypo 73%), a category, a unit, the min/max/step amounts for the field stepper, and any package sizes (separate them with semicolons). Click + Add.
  3. Edit any chemical in place to rename it or change amounts. Untick "show" to hide it from techs while keeping it in the catalog; use Delete to remove it for good.
  4. To set your water targets, go back to Catalog & forms and choose Water-balance targets.
  5. For each reading (pH, chlorine, and so on) set your min, ideal, and max. Leave a row alone to use the industry-standard default; click reset on any row to restore it.
  6. Click Save targets. The field app's dosing recommendations and your customer reports will now aim for your numbers.
Good to know
  • Liquids measured in gallons get quick fraction chips on the field app; everything else gets a number stepper.
  • Hiding a chemical is safer than deleting when you just want it off the field list for the season.
