Done, Return, or Review: the completion relay
When a tech finishes, they tell the office what happens next: the visit is Done, it needs a Return trip, or it needs an office Review. That choice flows straight to your schedule board and callback queue so nothing gets forgotten.
Where: Schedule board (chips on the card) and Operations -> Callback queue
- Done means the visit is finished and the customer is back on their normal rotation; no flag appears.
- Return means the tech couldn't fully resolve it and someone has to go back. The tech adds a timeframe: return now, in a few days, or by a specific date.
- Review means the tech needs an office judgment call before anything else happens (for example, a quote or an owner decision).
- On the schedule board, a Return shows a red 'return' chip and a Review shows a highlighted 'Office review' chip, each with the tech's note.
- Open Operations to see the Callback queue, a running list of every job needing a return or review, with the customer, address, tech, and reason.
- When you've handled one, click 'Mark handled' on that row to clear it from the queue.
Good to know
- Hover a job card on the board to see the 'Next' line spelling out the exact action, like 'Return by 2026-07-20'.
- A Review flag doesn't schedule anything on its own; it's a note asking the office to decide the next step.
