Fix a form answer after the job is done

If a tech mistyped a reading or missed a box, the office can correct a submitted form in place, up until the job's invoice settles and the record locks.

Where: Manage -> Forms -> Submitted forms

  1. Open Manage, then Forms, and find the visit under 'Submitted forms'.
  2. Click the row to open the submission and read the answers.
  3. Click 'Edit answers', change what's wrong, and save. The office user and time are recorded on the submission.
  4. If the job's invoice has already settled, the form shows a lock and can no longer be edited.
Good to know
  • By default, field techs can only edit their own forms until the end of the day they were completed. Turn on 'Let field techs edit forms until the job is locked' on the Forms screen to give them until the invoice settles.
  • The office can always edit a submission until the job locks, regardless of that tech setting.
