Plan the week ahead and balance routes across techs
The Week ahead board shows all seven days at once so you can plan and shuffle work before the day arrives. Auto-balance evens out stops across your technicians when one route is stacked.
Where: Manage company -> Week ahead; Auto-balance is on the Today dashboard
- Open the Manage company hub and choose Week ahead to see the full week.
- Switch between Days and Swim-lanes layout; Swim-lanes gives one row per technician across the week.
- Drag a stop to another day to reschedule it, or (in Swim-lanes) to another tech's row to reassign it.
- Check 'Make moves permanent' first if you want those drags to shift the pool's recurring day, not just this week.
- To even out a lopsided day, go to the Today dashboard's 'Today's Progress by Technician' panel and click Auto-balance routes.
- Review the summary WaterMark shows of how stops were spread across techs.
Good to know
- Leave 'Make moves permanent' unchecked for one-off week planning; check it only when a customer's regular day is really changing.
- Auto-balance is a quick evener for a single day - for drive-time efficiency on one tech's route, use Optimize route inside the Route Manager instead.
