Security & Your Data
What to do if you suspect a security problem
If something looks off - an unexpected sign-in, a strange charge, an email you didn't expect - here's how to lock things down fast and reach a human.
Where: Account menu -> Account settings (password & 2FA); support@watermarkapp.online
- Change your password right away: Account menu -> Account settings -> Change password.
- Turn on two-factor authentication if it isn't already on (see the 2FA article) so a stolen password alone can't get back in.
- Check your team list under Manage company for any user you don't recognize.
- Email support@watermarkapp.online with what you noticed - the more detail (dates, what looked wrong), the faster they can help.
- Don't share passwords, 2FA codes, or backup codes with anyone, including over email - WaterMark support will never ask for them.
Good to know
- WaterMark will never email or call asking for your password or a 2FA code. If someone does, it's not us.
- Card numbers are never stored on WaterMark, so a WaterMark issue can't expose full card numbers - those live with Stripe.
