Settings & Company
Set up your company profile and tax
Your company name, logo, address, license, website, and time zone brand every invoice, statement, portal page, and text you send. Set them once and everything downstream reads correctly. This is also where sales tax, payment terms, and message-log retention live.
Where: Manage (gear) -> Setup -> Company & Tax
- Open the Manage menu (the gear icon) and under Setup click Company & Tax.
- Type your Company name exactly as customers should see it - it brands invoices, reports, the portal, and texts.
- Upload a Business logo (PNG or JPG under 4 MB); it appears on customer invoices and statements. Use Remove to clear it.
- Fill in Business address, Business phone, License #, and Website.
- Pick your Time zone - it drives 'today', scheduling, and every timestamp, so get this right first.
- Click 'Set rates by state' next to Sales tax to enter a rate for each state you work in (each customer is taxed at their own state's rate).
- Paste your Google review link so happy customers get sent to the right place.
- Under Payment terms, set Net days (0 = due on receipt) to control when invoices become due.
- Click Save.
Good to know
- Company & Tax is owner-only. If you don't see it in the Setup section, you're signed in as office staff, not the owner.
- Sales tax is set per state, not one global rate - WaterMark taxes each customer by their own state so a multi-state book stays correct.
- Late fees and automatic chemical billing are configured separately, under Manage -> Billing & plan, not here.
