Scheduling & Routes

Build your first route from imported customers

Imported customers become a working route after each pool has a cadence, service day, and route or territory. Set those defaults, generate the service dates you need, and check the board before the crew starts.

Where: Customers -> open a customer -> Edit customer -> Advanced details; Manage -> Setup -> Routes & territories; left sidebar -> Route Manager

  1. Open Manage, find Setup, and choose Routes & territories. Add a route, then choose that route's Default tech and Route day.
  2. Open Customers, choose an imported customer, click Edit customer, and expand Advanced details.
  3. For the pool, choose Frequency and Service day, then select Route / territory. The selected route's default tech is used when recurring jobs are generated. Click Save.
  4. For many imported pools with no day, use Manage -> Actions & exports -> Schedule unscheduled pools. Choose Route day and Frequency, click Preview changes, then Confirm schedule. This bulk action does not choose a Route / territory, so assign that on each customer's pool when you need route-based tech assignment.
  5. If a city or ZIP code is served only on certain weekdays, open Route Manager -> Route tools -> Schedule intelligence -> Advanced setup -> Service-day zones and click Add zone. Set its Zone name, Cities or ZIP codes, Route days, and Save zone.
  6. In Route Manager, select the first service date you want to prepare and click Generate schedule. This creates pending stops from the recurring plans for that selected date.
  7. Confirm the customer appears on that date under the expected technician. Select each other service date you need, use Generate schedule, and verify those stops the same way.
Good to know
  • Generate schedule is safe to use again for the same date: it skips pools that already have a stop that day.
  • A service-day zone warns the office and constrains online booking for the cities or ZIP codes you list; it does not assign a pool to a route or generate a stop.
  • Schedule unscheduled pools changes only pools that have no usable schedule. Existing days and custom interval schedules are left alone.
