How we calculate this (and why it’s honest)

These are conservative estimates, not promises. Your real results depend on how you work today. Every number above comes straight from the formulas below — nothing hidden.

  • Admin time saved. We assume WaterMark removes 35% of the hours you spend on admin & billing — from auto-invoicing completed work, pre-filled readings, and one place for every record. Saved hours = your admin hours × 0.35, then × 4.33 to get a month.
  • Time in dollars. Saved hours × your stated office labor cost per hour. If you left labor cost blank, this is $0.
  • Faster, fuller payment. Pool companies routinely lose revenue to invoices that are late, forgotten, or never sent. We estimate WaterMark recaptures 1.5% through auto-invoicing plus — once card payments switch on at public launch — card-on-file AutoPay and in-app card payments — applied to a deliberately conservative revenue base of weekly stops × price ÷ 4.33. That base intentionally under-states your true monthly service revenue, so the number here stays modest and easy to beat in practice.
  • WaterMark cost. The base subscription price is $49/mo for the Founding 50, then $59/mo standard, + $20/mo per tech beyond the first 2. The live calculator uses the price currently available. Solo operators with up to 50 customers and 1 tech can use the free Starter plan — $0/mo. (Optional usage — SMS over 1,000/mo and AI over the included allowance — and add-ons like Xero (an optional $15/mo accounting sync — two-way QuickBooks sync is included free) aren't in this figure.)
  • Total value. Admin dollars saved + revenue recaptured. We do not subtract the WaterMark cost from the headline so you can weigh it yourself — the base subscription cost is shown separately.
